Linda O' Connell Podiatry was established in March 2019. Linda graduated from The National University of Ireland, Galway in 2017, with a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Podriatric Medicine Degree.
Throughout her four years of college she gained a wealth of experience in a public setting, Merlin Park Podiatry Clinic, where she worked alongside many experienced podiatrists in all aspects of podiatry: wound care, diabetes assessments, podopaediatrics, lower limb biomechanics, nail surgery and routine podiatry treatements.

Linda has completed two postgraduate programmes in NUIG with a first class honours on The Management of the Diabetic Foot in 2019 and Vascular Disease in 2022. She hopes to complete a Masters in Podiatric Medicine which will broaden her knowledge and overall skill set, greatly benefitting the practice. Biomechanics, the study of how the body moves, is an area in which she has a particular interest.

Linda currently works five days per week in Athenry as well as The Bon Secours Hospital in St. Jarlath's Ward.
